The Shortlist, The Graphic Details & Horns
Thursday, June 18th, 2009Just a few days ago I heard that Gunpowder made the shortlist for this year’s British Fantasy Awards, while Locke & Key: Welcome to Lovecraft wound up on the final ballot for best comic/graphic novel. If you’re looking for something good to read, you’ll find a lot of material worthy of your attention over on the full ballot; check it out. My thanks to everyone in the BFS for the support.
I’ve been a lazyass about posting on the blog, but only because I haven’t been a lazyass about work – I’ve been putting in pretty full, satisfying days at the computer, and when I’m done I’m not much in the mood to wax all eloquent here on the website. A bit of harmless twittering is usually about the best I can manage. Buuut, if you really feel like you can’t get through the week without a big slice of my gab, I did an interview with Graphic Novel Reporter the other day.
Finally, people have been wondering when the next book is out. I was keeping my mouth shut on the subject for a very good reason: I didn’t know. Now I do – February.
