my husband bought me an Ugly Doll for my birthday a few years ago. It’s pink with like three eyes, you can’t help but love it.

I’m jealous! You were my favorite at Comic Con and you very graciously autographed ‘Twentieth Century Ghosts’ for me with the inscription I requested, ‘To Donna, the SLSA’ (standing for ‘sycophantic little suck-ass’, a phrase from Heart-Shaped Box which I thought very appropriate for someone asking for an autograph and picture). Your talk with your ‘low-tech aids’ was great–the bit you read from The Sorcerer’s Glass (hope I have that title right) immersed me and everyone else in a new world–can’t wait to read the whole thing.
