Can I just say, THANK YOU? As an indie bookseller in a terrible economy, campaigns like this are shop savers.

Ok...I'm back. Whew! I just had to say I read MMS's STRAW MEN and really, really liked it. And of course, Scalzi's website is sooooo funny. I was just talking about his visit to the Creation Museum. I was rolling on the floor! Honestly, I'm beginning to think I don't have a chance to win anything since so many folks are jumping on the band wagon, but I really hope I do. I'd love ANY of these wonderful prizes!

PS...I finished my copy of MAUS, Vol. I that I bought at my Indie Comic Book Store and LOVED IT!! I gotta get Vol. II as soon as I can!

[...] BUT WAIT! There’s more. As this thing goes along, I’ll be adding other signed editions of other books for other randomly drawn winners. Stay tuned. (March 19 update: as promised, lots and lots of other prizes have been added since the contest began; there will now be at least 24 winners, with a rare or limited edition of something going to each randomly drawn entry; see here, here, and here) [...]
