Art Show

Amanda Boyle was good enough to pass along some info about where the short film of “Pop Art” will be making it’s first appearances. English audiences will be able to catch it at the 52nd London Film Festival and American viewers will find it at the Austin film festival. Both festivals take place in mid-October. I don’t believe you’ll find it on the program for either just yet, but I’m sure as they update their websites, it’ll, uh, pop in there.

More dates to come.

UPDATE 9/11/08: Here are the times and dates on “Pop Art” in London.

I can’t wait to see the movie!

  2. Nerak Says:

But But But, I don’t live near either place :(

  3. Betsy Boo Says:

Neither do I. My sister lives in Dallas. I’ll mention it to her in case she wants to go. I do hope that the film will be available to a wider audience eventually. I’d pay to see it if Ms. Boyle would make it available on the internet. I recently saw Michael Moore on Larry King and he is making his next film “Slacker Uprising” available for download. I wish I had someway of contacting Ms. Boyle to ask her if she might be able to do this.

  4. Barry Wood Says:

I hope to be able to view “Pop Art” as well. Good for you, Ms. Boyle.

I don’t know what’s more creepy … seeing Arthur Roth in the flesh (well, you know … the plastic), or the fact that they are wearing my old school uniform. I still have that tie somewhere.

Seriously, what a great shot! I’m really looking forward to seeing the movie. You can just tell that Amanda Boyle has done a great job with this.
